It is anticipated that the agreed protocol for amends to the CSTF learning outcomes and related Statutory and Mandatory elearning will take place from April 2022. The roadmap and timelines to complete this programme of work are in development. Requests will be reviewed by a subject matter expert working group and decisions for inclusion in the training will be in line with any agreed updates to the CSTF. HEE elfh’s Statutory and Mandatory team will, in the first instance, triage and document all requests and suggestions for edits and updates to the Statutory and Mandatory Training programme. This will lead to a programme of work to review and update the CSTF in tandem with Health Education England’s elearning for healthcare (HEE elfh) Statutory and Mandatory Training programme. The report findings and recommendations of this review will be released at the end of March 2022. If they fail, they are encouraged to review the knowledge chapters. The eAssessments have an 80% pass rate and allow learners 3 attempts. The eAssessments within the session consist of 2, randomly selected, multiple choice questions per learning outcome. The CSTF provides further guidance on this. It is also an employer’s responsibility to determine the best mode of delivering the training, whether that is face-to-face, elearning or a blended approach. It is the responsibility of individual health and social care employer organisations to ensure that their workforce complete the appropriate training to comply with their statutory and mandatory requirements. The sessions are freely available to all health and social care staff. Health Education England elearning for healthcare (HEE elfh) has worked with a range of subject matter experts to develop high quality, national elearning training sessions, which address all the knowledge outcomes at level 1 and at level 2, where appropriate for elearning.
